Hey, I was wondering how I can get my app to automatically add a shortcut to itself to the home screen of the device when it’s installed. I’m new to mobile devices, so I’m not sure if this is a device-dependent setting, or if I can tell my app to install the shortcut itself.
Some apps that I’ve installed managed to end up with a shortcut on the “desktop/home screen/whatever” but mine (and others) don’t.
Google’s run dry on this one, or I haven’t been typing the right keywords.
