How can I build a “HOMESCREEN WIDGET”
(that appears in the list of device widget menu)

I have a counter widget but it runs only in may application , but I would like to see on PHONE’S HOME SCREEN.

Please help me .

Corona does not support this Android app widgets. The main goal of Corona is to provide a cross-platform API that works on both iOS and Android. Home screen widgets are an Android specific feature with no equivalent on iOS, so it doesn’t make much sense for us to add support for it. At least at the moment.

Now, you can code your own app widget via Corona Enterprise, but you would have to code it in Java and XML layouts yourself just like how all other Android developers do it. Corona cannot control or render to an app widget. Corona can only render to an app’s activity window, as how it is handled today. I hope this makes sense.
