How can I see a unique user name on Android

I have developed a game, and on iOS integrated it with Game Center. I also maintain a
local high score at my own server, and uses the Game Center ID and username for
this high score on iOS.

How can I go about the same on Android? It does not seem that there is integration to
Google+ yet, is there some other way for the user to sign in to my application,
so I have a unique username / ID for the users.

I know that I can use open game centers like OpenFeint, but thay would mean a lot of work,
for a lot of features I do not need. Also I could implement my Own Auth system,
but that also seems like overkill.

Any ideas?

@andershjarnaa, have you looked at Corona Cloud to see if it would serve your purpose?

Naomi

Thanks @Naomi, I know of Corona Cloud, but haven’t looked much at it yet.

However I think Play Game Service will be the answers to my issue.

Yes, I agree.  I saw that blog post, and I thought it wonderful.  As soon as it becomes available, I’ll be adding it to mine too.

Cheers,
Naomi
