How do I build my app while your servers are down?

I need to rebuild my app, but your servers are really slow, to the point where the SDK crashes when I try to log in after launching it. What am I supposed to do?

Everything seems to be back to normal for me.

I was getting 413 error the last 3-4 days.

I have the same problem. The “Packaging App” is run from 10 minutes and don’t work.

13:38:53.126  WebServices: Call system.connect failed in 1579005533 seconds: XmlRpcImplementation::execute: [HttpSendRequest] Tempo esaurito per l’operazione

13:38:53.126   - Local system has RAS installed

Same problem here.

Is there someone who can tell when the server are back online?
Hours, days, weeks, never?

The servers should be back. I was successfully able to build.

Yes it’s working again!

Builds are failing again for me now. The forums are barely working either.

There is problem with servers again.

They did an announcement on twitter and will keep posting updates.

Is there not something we can buy to end this charade, so if you *servers* go down we can still do our work?

It doesn’t happen very often.

Actually I think it’s the first time they have that kind of problem for so long.

Offline builds were on 2018 roadmap but google’s 64bit requirement destroyed everything!

We have moved Android offline already. We are in progress on iOS. Windows, macOS and HTML have always been offline. Now offline doesn’t mean “no connections” to Corona servers. It means no transmitting your project’s code to the servers and getting a resource bundle back. We still have to download plugins. Native builds have to download them once and then periodically when they updated. Simulator builds have to download them every time. Then we have to check to make sure you have paid for the plugin and that your license is still valid. This also includes authentication.

So making Corona completely server-less isn’t practical.

And that architecture would be fine, were it at all possible to use the service. A few hours of downtime is reasonable and expected, but I’ve been needing to rebuild an app since last Friday and it’s been down every single time I’ve check on every single day since then.

We rarely have problems like this. Our servers are traditionally very reliable. This is certainly an anomaly and way out of band of our standards. We are making our best effort to resolve this, but we are baffled as to the cause and are bringing in specialists to try and help find the issue.

Please be patient.
