How do I code the Review popup (Nook and iOS) before it's been published?

Hey guys,

So I am trying to make a review popup but it asks for the apps EAN (Nook) but I don’t get that until I submit the app. This is gonna be my first app on iOS so I don’t even know how that works (I don’t even have a developer account yet xD) but I could at least get the Nook version working. I’m probably going to upload it to Nook first anyways. Any help would be awesome!

Thanks!

You can create your app on the B&N site, upload your screen shots, etc. before you have to upload the .apk file.  You will get your EAN then.  Now go back and code up your app.  Then you can come back and upload the .apk when you are ready to submit the app.

This is basically the same with iTunes Connect.  You create your app there, to get your AppID number before you actually upload the binary.

Aaahhhhh I see now. Thanks!

Hmmm…I just uploaded all the images and the EAN didn’t show up. I didn’t click “Submit Application for Approval” because I’m pretty sure that just submits it to the store (I haven’t uploaded it yet). Do I have to wait some time before it shows up?

You should be able to “Save and Continue” or “Save and Exit” after uploading some of the meta information after which you should be able to return to the main screen and get your EAN.

I filled out everything except the APK and hit Save and Continue but there still isn’t any EAN :frowning:

Can you login, go to the applications screen and take a screen shot and post it?

Here is a screenshot. The first one (Letter Fall) is one I created but then decided to call the game Lettercraft so ignore Letter Fall:

I know they have made recent changes in their certification process.  I would go onto their forums and ask there.

AppdojoStudios-

I know this is an older thread- but if you found an answer, would you mind posting it here? I’m having the same issue (and I’m guessing occasionally others do too).

Thanks
