how do I make my app compatible with all iphone/ipad screen sizes?

How do I make my app compatible with all screen sizes?

do I need to make multiple configs?

do I just duplicate the code for the original screen size setting and put other displays in?

do I put the exact display for iphone 5s in which is 640 x 1136

I have seen displays that have half of the iphone 5s display wich is 320 x 568???

what does this mean

explain the whole sizing subject??

Hi @Max281,

Here are some resources to begin learning about these topics:

http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2013/09/10/modernizing-the-config-lua/

http://docs.coronalabs.com/guide/basics/configSettings/index.html

Hope this helps,

To add on to what Brent said, the modernizing the config.lua file builds upon a previous blog/tutorial that we did called the “Ultimate Config.lua”.  It is really a prerequisite read before you read the Modernizing one.

There are things explained in there that you really need to know as well.  I’ve found that people only read Modernizing for the first time and never go read the previous one even though we link  you to it.
