How do you build Custom Objects?

I have a collection of Maplines with a starting X,Y and an ending X,Y. I would like to store these in a table for reference later. Is there a way to create a Mapline object with the properties of X1,Y1, X2,Y2? If not what format would you recommend storing them in?
