How do you get touch count?

How do you get touch count? as in how many fingers are touching the screen during multitouch?

Ok. I am looking at the sample Code for multitouch Ipad. It doesn’t seem to work when I build it. Ansca, could you point me in the right direction?
I get the following error from the terminal
