How does the app detect if it's iPad or iPhone?

His everyone, I’m sure this appears somewhere in the extensive resources, but I’m at a loss for the right search words, so I’m asking here:

My apps consist almost entirely of images and video, and they come in iPhone and iPad sizes. My question is, how do I set the app to detect what device it’s playing on, and load the correct files accordingly?

If you could explain here, or just point me to the right resource page, I would be happy.

Thanks

This guide will help you: http://blog.anscamobile.com/2010/11/content-scaling-made-easy/ [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 27130 reply_id: 110147[/import]

I think this is what I need. I was aware of the scaling option from the dark Android days, and that 's not what I want to do this time around, but it looks like what I’m looking for is given there in a reply.

I’ll come back here if it doesn’t work out.
