5 th of january 2011. came across corona googling for box2d. I still have my first attempt at doing a game. 2 k lines of code written in main.lua with crash bugs and leaks all over the place. It’s been a pleasure to work with corona and see it evolve.
Wow, Jan 18, 2011 for me. Has it been that long?
I’ve been developing in Lua since 2004 and in 2013 a friend told me about Corona. It was love at first sight. It’s nice to be here. Thank you guys!
We started using from Mar 2011.
September 2010 for me, so it’ll be 6 years in a few months. I’d been banging my head against Obj-C for a few weeks and was astonished when I discovered what Corona could do.
In late 2010 I launched Corona Project Manager (now known as Outlaw) and somewhere in early-mid 2011 published my first “how-to” course for Corona SDK.
While I now swap back and forth from Unity to Corona, the latter is my favorite, by FAR.

I just discovered Corona last year, around August 2015. Prior to that I had been banging my head against my desk as I fought with Cordova and it’s various plugins. After finishing and publishing that Cordova-wrapped JavaScript app, I switched fully to Corona SDK and haven’t looked back since. Corona SDK is awesome!
