How might I "record" the Simulator for a demo video?

Hi all,
I’m looking into creating a demo video of my current in-progress game, but I’m not sure how to approach this task. Ideally, I’d like to “record” the Corona Simulator as I play the game, and then compress/export that video to YouTube/Vimeo or similar. Even more ideal would be a recording *without* the mouse pointer visible.

So is there a native OSX program or utility to accomplish this? I confess I’ve never used apps like iMovie (don’t even have it anymore, looks like they stopped bundling it with Lion). Is there another program, preferably free-ware or trial-ware, that is good for this purpose?

Thanks in advance,

There is an option to capture video of your screen with quicktime, just did it for the trailer of my next game and works pretty good.

Hope it works for you too.

I used to use iShowU HD which is pretty good however I just used Sound Stage for the Barrel Joyride template video.

The app isn’t perfect but for the price I think it is certainly worth it - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sound-stage/id411392259?mt=12 [import]uid: 5833 topic_id: 22697 reply_id: 90544[/import]

Quicktime will capture but only video – no audio. [import]uid: 10389 topic_id: 22697 reply_id: 90634[/import]

I swear by Screenflick - it’s cheap and works wonderfully. (Audio too, both system and input if you wish.)
