How to divide .apk file size (if file size is more than 50 MB)

Hello,

I have crated an .apk file of an app which is of 95 MB, i tried to upload that file on GooglePlay app store, but it has limitation that ,only 50 MB .apk file can be uploaded at a time. Google play has given the facility to divide the .apk file and then upload it. I have a question can we divide our app in .lua or does corona support to divide the .apk file in parts? if yes then what will be the procedure?

Thanks & Regards,

Hello @tanzila14,

Support for Android Expansion files was added in Daily Build 1082, as outlined here:

http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2013/04/17/expansion-file-support-for-android/

The thing is, as a Starter user, you cannot use this feature unless you wait for the next Public Build (which shouldn’t be too far off), or upgrade to Pro.

Sincerely,

Brent Sorrentino
