How to do this with composer?

I have had a problem for some days now with the scene not reloading and putting my objects in the same place they were when I first went to level1.lua . I was told many corrections but nothing worked . In my search for an answer for my problem I found this : https://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/38414-how-to-reload-a-scene-and-proceed-like-normal/

On the best answer it shows how to reload the scene with storyboard . But as you know composer is now currently used , that being said my question is how do I do something like this with composer . Do I just switch the storyboard to composer or do something else .

Thank you .

Hi @trueisawesome,

The concept of “reloading” is really just going to a scene and detecting the “show” event with either the phase of “will” or “did”. Then, at that time, it’s your responsibility to reset the scene… reposition objects, start music from the beginning point, reset variables to initial values, etc. Composer won’t just do this “automatically” because it can’t assume exactly what you want to reset and to what degree.

Hope that clarifies it,

Brent
