I am using corona for computer class in school and we all have a choice of what to use but most people are using gamesalad or gamemaker but those dont use real code and it would be easier if more of my friends were using corona so we could help each other and share code and learn more so if you were me what would you say to encourage people about why corona is better to use thanks? I can think of 2 things of the top of my head. Whether they work or not probably depends on the specific person and what their goals are…

If your friends start learning to code now, they will get a real head start on things (school, work, etc.). Almost everyone needs to code nowadays (or should) - and the earlier they learn how to do it, the better. Especially if any of them think they may want to be engineers down the road, learning to code now would be huge.

Show them some of the apps made with Corona vs. some of the apps made with tools like those others. They should be able to see that the level of complexity is much higher with Corona - so they will be able to do cooler things. A couple of cool apps for them to check out:
