How to integrate Google analytics in to the game?

Hi,

Currently for all my apps I do use GA Campaign Measurement. I sue it to track from which sources I get installs, and in addition just for some analytics.

Is that possible to somehow use GA? I saw, that there are no plugin for GA but there are for Admob. Is that possible to come out with GA plugin? What would be the right side to do research on this case.

I do understand that you (corona team) should involve people to use pro or enterprise version, but a simple answer to the right direction from the corona team would be appreciated, even for those who use free version. Unless we( indie) will not make some money on some engine, we will not pay). Let’s help a little bit more… an advice shouldnt take much of your time

Hi there - I’m also a recent adopter of the Corona SDK.  My guess is that a plug-in / module would need to be developed to interface with Google Analytics’ Measurement Protocol for direct HTTP requests.  I’m assuming without the Enterprise version, the standard Google Analytics for Android SDK would be inaccessible.

Would be interested to here if there is another approach.  If not and anyone interested in pairing up with experimenting down this path for an open-source plug-in, I’d be interested in exploring that off-line.
