How to make a build.settings file

I’ve been trying to keep Simulator in Landscape mode and I found some code by Peachy P to do so.  BUT I have no idea how to create a building.settings file.

What program will allow me to save it as a Unix Executable File (as it seems to be shown in the tuts).

I thought using a text editor was the way but I don’t see anyway within Eddie to save as an exec file.  The icon of the file seems to be different than the main.lua and config.lua

Thanks for the help.  I really did search site before posting. : )

I found a Corona doc on this which was detailed but didn’t really describe how to save/make it:

http://docs.coronalabs.com/guide/distribution/buildSettings/index.html

Thanks for helping a newie!

build.settings just needs to be in folder with main.lua. you don’t make it an executable file

But how do I make the build.settings file?  I’m not sure how or what software to use to make it.

Do I just use my text editor - new doc - save as “build.settings”?

Thanks for your help
