Hi, anyone knows the technique/way to make a rounded grid background using images?
For example, you can see in Candy Crush, there are blue rounded images around the candies.
I know that they use this image (the PLUS one that I attached) to generate the blue background. But how to do this?
Anyone knows the name of the technique or how to achieve this the same way or different way? Thank you.
Note: I attach the image file that Candy Crush uses to make the background.
In Photoshop you can use the rounded rectangle shape to create a shape and color it, then apply textures and layer effects like embossing to create something similar.
No, I mean how to use the PLUS blue one to automatically generate a rounded background (such as square, etc) . You can google Candy Crush image to see the background that they create by code using only the above image. I can use it to make rounded corner now. But I need to find the more easy way to do it or the technique. Thank you

You could do it with masks. You could do it with tiles where your edge squares have curves and your interior ones do not.
