How to make procedural graphics?

I’ve been considering the Corona SDK for a game project. But there is one indispensable feature that I’m not sure I can do with the SDK. Some of the textures will be procedurally created, this is, are created in runtime (in the game loading) with a mathematical function. I would have to generate a texture, where the color pattern are generated by an algorithm, and then render this texture. Can this be done with Corona? I can’t find a way.
