How to play the net video?

HI all,

I want to know how to play a net video. I saw there are code example of media.playVideo().

But that example is for the downloaded file, can I play the video from internet?

Thank you all

Yep, if it’s stream then you can pass it’s url instead of path, and dir as remote (see docs)

Hi, piotrz55, Thank you for replying me,

I check the docs, but I didn’t find it, Can you give me the link?

Thank you very much

Check once again documentation of media.playVideo and read about arguments. There is written about remote server settings.

I find it ,Thank you  a lot. piotrz55

Hi, i have a problem relative to media.playVideo: i have tried to play either local and remote video but when i build my android app and run it on my device, a Galaxy Nexus, the screen became black and no video is played. Help please.

Hi @mandre86,

Is the app running at all? Do you see anything on the device before the video goes black, or does it simply crash (black screen) on startup?

Best regards,

Brent

If it’s just black check the slashes because the simulator doesn’t care if it’s “dir/sound.wav” or “dir\sound.wav” but the device does.

Best regards,

Tomas
