How to prevent images being jagged when rotating

I have been playing around with rotation images today just using the basic object.rotation api code.

I have noticed that graphics are quite jagged when they rotate so I am wondering if there is something I am overlooking.

It would not be possible to create separate graphics for every rotation angle due to the number of graphics required and the fact my game idea involves fairly smooth rotation animation.

Any advice much appreciated.

Btw I am just testing with rectangular png images at the moment.

Thanks

Yeah will do Carlos. Will have to do this later as my 2 dogs are whining for their evening walk. (UK TIME)

My graphic was literally just a white rectangle 320 x 160 saved as a png in Photoshop.

Thanks

Don’t worry about this now. I have just made a sample with a ball png and it rotates fine. I guess a white rectangle is bound to look jagged if it rotates:) [import]uid: 7863 topic_id: 1599 reply_id: 4629[/import]
