How to put your game onto your phone

I tried doing the steps in place to have the game set up but it wouldn’t allow me to download the apk file on my phone despite it being an android device and android download. Can someone give me a link to a video that will show me how to transfer my game to my phone

You need to allow downloads/installs from outside of app stores. I think that is disabled by default

If you have a Dropbox or similar account, use that as a shortcut.

  1. After Corona creates the .APK file, copy the file to your Dropbox account.

  2. On your phone, open the Dropbox app and select the .APK file.

  3. IIRC, your phone asks you something like “Do you want to install this application?” Select “yes”, and you’re off to the races.

It’s been a few weeks since I did this, so I might not be remembering it accurately. But I was surprised and pleased with how simple it was.

You need to enable developer on your device and use ADB to push the APK.  You can Google all of this.
