I’m not sure about you guys, but for me, my projects eventually get loaded with lots of files (mostly images and audio) which are not used anymore (as i changed the design, picked another image, etc).
Obviously i can do the clean up manually, but it is quite time consuming as i need to make sure that each image is not used in any particular scene, etc.
So I was wondering if anyone has a good trick to remove all unused files from a project?
Somewhat of a script that check the file name and check if it is used somewhere in one of the code files.
Did you ever get any feedback on this thread? We just noticed this happening today and its really starting to bloat our app, so we are asking the same question.
Hey Allen, Nope, could not find a tool to do this. And i don’t have the skills to code it myself yet. Still sucks though. So i’ve just been much more careful in the next project It is not that hard in the end, but i’ll still prefer have a tool… If you encounter a solution, please share! d.
