How to renew apple dev account?

Hello guys,

I am sure this is a stupid question but I am not sure how to proceed. My dev account ($99) expire October 28 and when I click on the link to renew (the link say something about my account will expire not really the exact word renew…) Anyway, when I follow the link it seems that I can add a dev account for 99 dollars but I am not sure if it means this will renew my account or add a new account? I guess I am affraid this would add a new account.

I am sorry for asking such simple question but I would love if anybody can reassure me that went thru dev account renewal!

I went through the same thing, but ignored it and went through the remaining steps. Apple renewed my account without adding a new one.

Just follow the steps Apple told you and nothing would go wrong.

Thank you so much for your response. I appreciated very much. I just did it and crossing my fingers! It really looks like you are asked to get a new account the way it is displayed. The good news is that they have a choice at one point in the process where they ask you for your apple ID and show your credit card info. I will assume you can see somewhere when is the new expiration date? It also seems that will take maybe 24 hours to get the renewal.

BTW I don’t know where you can see the expiration date. Apple just displayed the expiration date at the sidebar of the Dev Portal 2 weeks before my license was going to expire. [import]uid: 44110 topic_id: 31926 reply_id: 127406[/import]
