gupte3, as you have been told multiple times before, you must ask a clear and specific question when making a thread.
Your title is good and descriptive but your question is not; reset how? Reset what? The whole app? Are you using director? Etc.

Here’s a reset question. How do you reset a scene with when using the Director Class? Is it more efficient to have the Director class reload the file or to have an in file function that resets the scene? [import]uid: 54716 topic_id: 10482 reply_id: 38435[/import]
I can’t say which would be more efficient in any specific way; however having tried both I find using Director much quicker and easier.
(Although most of my screens that allow resetting are pretty heavy - if yours are simpler it might be more practical for you to use an in file function.)
