Does anyone have any ideas about how to run ads in apps built with Corona?
I’ve never run ads on anything and it hadn’t occurred to me until I started showing people my app in development.
I don’t know where to even start looking. I’m assuming I need some kind of ad provider like Google Ads.

Ive heard google mobile ads look the best, but Ive also used other companies like Admob (which is the largest), and I also use Jumptap because there high concentration in the US (75%).

we are in the process of evaluating the different apps platform, from admob, to graystripe, etc.
Several of you have asked for this feature and it is in the works. we will be sending out a questionnaire about ad support in corona and hopefully, your answers will help us determine the right ad platform and usage.
We are thinking that we may have this feature ready in 1.2 or 1.3

Any further news on when the option for adding ads to corona apps will be available? Are you specifically waiting for iAds or will you have an open set of ad networks?

As one quick answer, here’s a developer who just figured out how to integrate Admob using a small webpopup in Corona:
