Hi,
In iTunes connect, I have to answer whether or not my app uses encryption. I’m not familiar with encryption, but I looked it up and I now know the basis of what it is. I don’t actively use encryption in my app, but I’m not sure if I’m unknowingly using it “behind the scenes” in some of my functions.
Would anyone know if in-app-purchases or ads use encryption? I’ve googled this and haven’t found any definitive answers.

Unless you’re explicitly using one of the encryption libraries, you would answer, “No.” to the question.
The way Apple asks about it is a little confusing.
Most of the time the answer is, ‘No.’
