Hi,
Would anyone mind pointing me in the right direction on how to update
a application you created and is already in the app store? I was thinking you
resend your (app) with the updates (installed) and that becomes your
new updated app? What about those who downloaded your app already
does it overwrites there app? what about saved data?

Yes. If you already have an app out there, you re-submit the updated version (just so they can check it again) and then you specify it to the same product page. And then when it goes live, the users who have your app will see that an app needs to be updated, or their current update is out. And they need to either re-update it, or can keep it the way it is.

I had an idea that`s how it works but if you re-submit
the updated version and someone who has the non-updated
version it will simply ask them to update to get the updated version
or there is something I need to input or do for it to update?
Im assuming from your previous answer it will ask them to update
