A daily build functions similarly to the public build. Just install the Simulator from the download package into a unique directory (you can have multiple versions of Corona on your computer at the same time), run it, log in (if you haven’t already), and test your apps using that build.

There are three links on the daily build page for each page. One has an extension of .msi (Microsoft Installer), .dmg (Mac Disk Image), and .zip (The daily build documentation).
If you are downloading the zip file you are just getting the documentation. If you’re on windows, use the .msi link, if your on a Mac use the .dmg link. The MSI should launch a Windows style installer. The DMG will bring up a typical Mac (Drag to Applications) to install box.
