How to use device for development?

So my client just want an app for there own users, he don’t want to put into android market

so i’m was thinking in put as development

anyone knows a better way and how to do?

Hi,

One way to do it is to enable 3rd party apps on the Android phone…you can do this the following way…

On the device, go through the following menus…
Applications -> Settings -> Applications

Check the “Unknown Sources” option at the top

That will allow you to install applications outside the market. Now all you need to do is put the .apk on some server…and the person with the phone can download it onto their Android device and install it.

You can also e-mail them the .apk to their e-mail account associated with the Android device and they can install it that way.
