HTML5 and OpenGL

I’m new to Corona and noticed the following feature mentioned at: http://www.anscamobile.com/corona/apps/: “Mix and match cutting-edge HTML5 technologies with the graphics power of OpenGL.”

Can someone point me to the section in the docs that explains this integration? The closest I found was the “Web Popups” section under Native UI (http://developer.anscamobile.com/content/native-ui-features#Web_Popups). [import]uid: 78891 topic_id: 14936 reply_id: 314936[/import]

Web Popup = Cutting Edge HTML5 Technology

Web Popup With Transparent Background = Mix and match graphics power of OpenGL.

I think I recall a project in the samples folder which shows a transparent web popup with some fishies animation going on in the background.

Sorry it’s not as cool as it sounds… [import]uid: 11393 topic_id: 14936 reply_id: 55195[/import]

Thanks for the response. I had a feeling that was it. In reality, that’s probably all I need to integrate jquery mobile based web content into a native app. I wanted to settle on one platform for both games and business apps without having to switch between Corona and something like PhoneGap.
