I’m not sure if anyone face this problem, I’m trying HTML5 video player HLS stream using Corona native webviewer, it works fine from Android Ice cream till Jelly bean. It doesn’t work on Android 4.4 kitkat. I read from Google documentation that Android 4.4 webview has been using Chromium (https://developer.android.com/about/versions/kitkat.html), any fix on this issue?
Can you put together a small sample project that shows the problem on Kitkat but not earlier versions and file a bug report please. Include the build.settings, config.lua and any assets needed to run the sample and provide a .zip file with your bug report.

I just filed a submission based on my problem. Just a quick idea after reading http://developer.android.com/guide/webapps/webview.html, I don’t know how to add and @JavascriptInterface I hope Corona native webview has a fix for Android 4.4.
