the project DualOS, will get a huge change
with a PC version and some apps to play with.
I’m making almost everything from scratch and really modularized.
It is a proof-of-concept but… it seems to work.
It won’t be a fully featured OS but a simulator capable of doing interesting things…
Well, it looks interesting. What is your end goal with this project?
Think of it as an “OS” to make apps and run apps from lua code. You could make an app or game directly from your phone. Well, at least make something that works.
As I understand, lua is not very good when calling strings, so that’s what I said “something”. This going to use some Corona power directly from your device without further compilation. Be a phone or PC.
With this, you should be able to:
Make lua programs
Make “window” apps
Edit and customize the whole desktop from your device
My end goal?
Something cool and developer-useful at the same time.
That is crazy - in the wonderful kind of way! I love ambitious projects and look forward to seeing where you take this. Good luck and keep us posted.
