I don't understand the cost of corona.

The cost is about $349 for both android and iphone per year. But what happens if I make a game in the year I buy it and put it on the market place, when the second year rolls around, if I do not pay for the second year does my app get removed? Is there a limit on how much an app can gross? [import]uid: 103509 topic_id: 17588 reply_id: 317588[/import]

No your app won’t be removed. After the year subscription is up, you will no longer be able to build new versions of your app until you renew your yearly license.

No limit on the amount of money you can make. Ansca gets paid by your subscription dollars, not a percentage of monies made from the sale of your applications. [import]uid: 5317 topic_id: 17588 reply_id: 66912[/import]

No…nothing happens to your game(s) you already made.
Corona is the tool you use but once you create a game and put it in the market(s) even if you decide not to buy/pay for corona anymore, nothing happens to your games you already made with the tool(s). [import]uid: 58922 topic_id: 17588 reply_id: 66913[/import]

Just wanted to pop in with an official post to say that both above answers are correct and you NEVER have to worry about your app being removed - you publish it, it’s up to you how long it stays in the store for.
