What platform are you on? Do you know which builds are affected?
Can you guys pin down what daily build version this started with?
Thanks
Rob
It’s a settings you could look at the preferences menu I guess
The problem started with Windows build CoronaSDK-2014.2122.msi
I have not seen the same on Mac.
Symptom: Hit an error which shows a windows alert and restart or load a project (without closing the simulator) which normally works properly. All touch inputs will not work.
Bug submitted: Case 29781
Just as a check, can you all make sure “Relaunch Simulator when project is modified” is set to Always in your preferences?
I’m on 2013.2100 and it works fine.
Yap look in your preferences you should be able to disable it
I am definitely seeing this issue.
-Show Runtime Errors is checked
Un-checking this solves the problem, but I really don’t want to turn this off (to ensure I know when I have runtime errors in my code)
-Relaunch simulator when project is modified is set to “Never”
Changing the setting has no effect (don’t want to change it anyway)
Uninstall your simulator
And install it back always do the trick
I have uninstalled and re-installed several times (when installing new daily builds). It is still an issue.
ha I see the problem its your new daily build that’s what’s causing this issue, I say report this as a bug. hope this help
This is fixed in Daily Build 2014.2153 (it was introduced around Daily Build 2014.2121).
