I Need Some Real Idevice Testing, Can You Help?

Hello all,

I am looking for some testers to test both my maths game and children’s alphabet app on the following devices:

  1. iPhone 5

  2. iPhone 4S

  3. iPad 3 or 4

  4. iPad Mini

iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 and iPod Touch would be a bonus, but not necessary! I’m afraid I only have an iPhone 4 and iPad 2 and cannot currently use my friend’s iPhone 5 and iPad 4! I’m really just want to make sure the apps render ok in terms of positioning, alignment, etc. However, more detailed user feedback would also be appreciated!

Game Details

I have updated my projects page to provide more details about both the game and the app - http://www.appvism.com/projects/

  1. Maths Attack - this is a multiple choice maths quiz

  1. ABC Learn - this a simple alphabet app

Interested?

I am looking to do this through Testflightapp, so let me know if you are interested and I will send you an invite!

Thank you,

PS. fyi, I have also posted this on the TA Forums!..

I only have an iPhone 4, but the game looks very interesting.

There is a group of facebook of people who have volunteered to test.

You can try there to see if you can get the help you need.

Now realistically, if it works on your iPad 2, then the Mini should be taken care of.  If you’re only concerned about positioning, the iPad 1 is covered too, though you might run into performance problems on the 1.  You only need to really test on the iPad 3 or 4.  The differences between the two are performance and the power connector.

The iPhone 4 and 4s share the same screen as well.

Appreciate the feedback regarding, i assume, your experience of the real devices. I guess i’m more slightly worried about the iPhone 5.

@ignacioric - yeah, me too, i’ve tested it on my iPhone 4 already!

Cheers,

The iPhone 5 will need to be tested on because of the requirement to have a Default-568h@2x.png file that is often missed or named incorrectly.  Without this file, the iPhone 5 won’t be right and there is no way to use the Simulator to emulate that condition.
