I was wrong corona enterprise is not $3,000

He’s not far wrong though, is he?

I’ve seen you post on multiple threads saying so-and-so isn’t possible without a $3,000 enterprise license (whatever the actual cost may be) when they are definitely achieveable in the pro version.

In fact, for 99.9% of us who use Corona, the price would be $999, and although I don’t have the expertise or inclination myself to delve into the Obj-C side of things, I can see it’s a useful tool for those who really need a particular feature while still retaining the fast speed of Corona development generally, and with the right app you should make your money back in no time.

There are things I don’t like about Corona, some bugs rumble on for far too long for instance, but overall Corona has changed my life and it’s been a joy to work with for the last 18 months in the process of releasing 16 apps. [import]uid: 93133 topic_id: 36145 reply_id: 143557[/import]

I share the same feeling that @nick_sharman posted above. Also, I somehow find it hard to believe that John Salinger Jr., who appeared to have started using Corona since October 2010, does not know who is who at Corona Labs (and repeatedly assign wrong title to David despite the fact David has repeatedly corrected it.) I dare say it’s clearly meant to intentionally mislead and mis-inform new users. I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that John Salinger Jr. has some sort of misplaced and misguided grudge, who would be better off leaving the Forum all together. Prove me wrong. I’d be so happy if I start seeing some useful and helpful posts instead.
