IAP Guide is currently not available on corona website

https://docs.coronalabs.com/guide/monetization/IAP/index.html

… this site is currently not available and routes to the guides overview page. Would be nice if this will be fixed ASAP.

I use web.archive.org/web/20150422054751/http://docs.coronalabs.com/guide/monetization/IAP/index.html so far, but no idea if it is still valid.

We are working to revamp the guide. Stay tuned.

Rob

Is it just a optical revamp or are there minor changes to IAP? Just asking because I implement my IAP at this moment.

Thanks!

There have been minor changes to the IAP. The documentation for each plugin or the store.* API should be accurate. One area that’s getting some of the biggest updates is the example code around trying to implement the store across multiple platforms. I think I’ve come up with a more simple approach to detecting and selecting which plugin to use. I’ll be making a test case of that today and trying to verify the code.

Rob

ok, thanks for the information. Since I only develop for iOS at the moment there should be no hassle I guess.

@Rob, do you have any idea how long this revamp is going to take? The docs provided at

https://docs.coronalabs.com/daily/guide/monetization/IAP/index.html

were extremely thorough in what was required for setup, and what kind of inputs the various functions were expecting across platforms. I’m basically at a stand-still because im missing this documentation. I’m not sure why it would be taken down WHILE a rewrite was happening, instead of being replaced once the rewrite was done.

Any insight?

Thanks.
