I’ve been looking around and seen that some games allow you to gain points and other items as you play, but use only the ‘other’ items to purchase things such as upgrades and power-ups.
Some games allow you to trade in the points themselves for power-ups etc.
How do you do it? And what do you think works best? Is it entirely down to the game itself?
