We used the latest Corona build to add compatibility with older devices (in addition to the new iPad).
The in-app purchase works on our other iOS test devices (3GS, 4S, iPad1 all with iOS > 5.0).
On our iPod Touch with iOS 4.3.1. when store.purchase is called the pop-up to confirm IAP never appears.
