I have next question:

There is some method in Corona to communicate with Beacons?

My application need to comunicate with iBeacons for positioning.

I don’t think there is an API for this yet.

You probably can do this with Corona Enterprise.

Did anyone find an answer for this? I need to write an app for detecting beacons when entering a location. But since Corona cannot run in the background how would this work? Would there be some other listener be running and open the app when needed? I hate to go with another language like appcelerator to do this project because I see they support it.

Have you added feedback votes for this item? It has a fairly significant amount of requests behind it, so we may be taking a look at implementing this as a plugin in the near future.

Thanks but I have a client that needs me to start on this project asap which means if I cannot do it through corona which it looks like then I will need to switch to Appcelerator or Xamarin for the solution. If someone already had this done with enterprise for both Android and iOS I would use it.
