Ice Cream Truck Adventure (First published Corona app)

Hello all,

I wanted to let everyone know that I have finally published my first Corona built app. I built the game to get my feet wet and understand how Corona works. I am very pleased with the process and will gladly use Corona for many other projects.

Please check it out and leave a review on the following store…

Apple Store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ice-cream-truck-adventure/id1146182276?ls=1&mt=8

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.ethandunlap.Ice_Cream_Truck

I want to give a big shout out to everyone and anyone who has helped by answering the many questions I posted to the forum.

Best of luck with the game

Had a quick play earlier, one thing I noticed was that it was very easy to accidentally spend game money or gold coins when scrolling in the shop.

This could result in angry customers if they pay real money for coins and then spend them on something they don’t want. You could put in an alert that asks them if they are sure they want to buy the item.

Did you look at somewhere like vectorstock for a cheap way to upgrade the graphics significantly?

Thanks for the input nick, I’ll be sure to get something like that in an update.

I went into it knowing that it wasn’t going to be the greatest thing ever, just really wanted to learn the whole process and get the experience.

I made the whole thing, graphics and all, knowing that the graphics are not the best. I like to try and keep a consistent uniform look and thats much harder (for me) to do when you’re trying to piece together a bunch of images found online that are most likely made by different people.
