Since my original post was closed (and therefore I cannot update it), I am posting again with an updated script (to account to the iPad Pro icon).

Just sharing a tool that I created that may be useful for other devs.
As you know, Corona requires several different icon files sizes for your app. In order to make that generation easier, I created a tool that creates all these icons for you pratically instantly.
How it works:
- Right click on your high resolution icon file and go to Services -> Create Icons for Corona. Just that!
![]()
The tool will create all icons for you using the Corona default filenames.

How to install:
-
Download the tool HERE and unzip it.
-
Double click on the file “Create Icons For Corona.workflow” to install it on your Mac
FAQ / Troubleshooting:
What are the icons generated?
The tool generates all iOS & Android icons as specified by Corona documentation.
I want to create additional icons. Can I modify the tool do it?
Yes. The tool is a Automator script and you can easily modify it by using the Mac Automator app.
I don’t see the “Create Icons for Corona” on my “Services” Menu. What should I do?
- Go to your Mac “System Preferences” -> “Keyboard” -> “Shortcut”. Select “Services” on the left panel. On the right panel just make sure that “Create Icons for Corona” is checked.
