I'm not sure if I read this somewhere, but does the "Back" button always have to be visible in the top left corner?

I looked over apple’s developer site but can’t find anything that says this. Can someone verify/un-verify?

You only need a back button if you have somewhere to go back to.  If it makes sense for your app to “go back” then you should probably have a back button. I don’t believe there are hard fast rules from Apple on it.  On Google, most devices have a soft “back” button and if Google ever decides to showcase your app, then you will need to support the back button.
