image not scaling properly on nook hd+

Hi,
My image is not scaling properly on the nook hd+.

It hides behind the top black bar. No problem with the nook color & Nook color HD.

Any suggestions?

Does anyone know what device name is returned for the following;

  1. nook color
  2. nook color hd
  3. nook color hd+
    4.nook tablet.

You can have your code print the device name to the terminal

Simulator just has the Nook Color, so it won’t work.

I did find out from b&n that the following model name designations are as follows:

  1. BNRV200 - nook color
  2. BNTV250 - nook tablet
  3. BNTV400 - nook hd
  4. BNTV600 - nook hd+

Hopefully system.getInfo from corona gives us this.

I used Kwik2 and Corona 971 to build a picture book app for the Nook HD+.   I too am having issues with the images scaling properly. Instead of filling the screen vertically they have black bars on the sides.  Alex, at Kwik, assures me that Kwik set all the correct measurements according to BN specifications.  

 

B&N has accepted the app, but I’d like to correct the display issue if possible.
