Images look blury when zooming in

Hello,

I am building an app which allows the user to zoom into an image with some small texts on it. Even though I used a large image (1640 x 2400 px) it looks very blury when zooming in.
From other posts in the forum I got the impression that all images get scaled down when building the app. Is that correct? Is there any way to keep the original image dimensions? Do I have to use tiles?

maximum texture size on the iphoen is 1024x1024. If you need something bigger you need to use tiles. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 882 reply_id: 1966[/import]

I used a test image with 1024x1024 and it looks just fine! So I’ll go with the tiles.

Did you get the money for the other thing? I didn’t get a paypal notice yet.
