images not shown in real device but in simulator showing them

hello developers …

i am building simple game all resource is in PNG format they are shown in the simulator perfectly but when building and install it in real device (Android OS ) its not shown why ??

is there any specification must be in the PNG format to get it work in real device ??

please give me step by step information about this problem

also my resource in main directory so its not in folder … i am confused about this problem …

Ahhh… Android… this has been discussed on the forums earlier, I cannot recollect from the top of my head, it has something to do with the filename case and/or directories.

Unless it has been fixed *internally* to something else that we are unaware of…

thank you @JayantV the problem happens to me cause the file name it has upper case so i rename all my resource in the directory and change the file resource name to lower in my code …

I have a game that has been running fine in iPhone and Android —

And now with current build and daily builds, the same codeset does not run on Android — it is very hard to debug too —

I am not sure if it is sprites, images, display.newText, sqlite, etc.

But all I do know is that same code works fine on Apple devices but not any Android ???

I am not sure if this is a build issue or bug or what ???

Yes don’t put image files inside an ‘images’ folder on Android… Else things disappear. At least thats what used to happen. [import]uid: 33866 topic_id: 16320 reply_id: 60835[/import]

thanks - but no sub-folders are being used — everything is in Resource Main directory — again this is an App that has been out in iTunes and Android Market for over 1 year —

Now, trying to update and recompile with current builds does not run on Android devices —

???

I will try now with current .638 build … hope this works.
