On android KitKat available immersive mode

I try all options with display.setStatusBar(…) but it not working ( hide only top status bar, navigation bar exist)
Who knows supported immersive mode in corona sdk and what options do it. I use v 2013.1260. Thanks

Sorry to bring this back up from the dead… but is this still a considerable option for future Corona builds ?
Android 4.4 (API Level 19) : SYSTEM_UI_FLAG_IMMERSIVE
As of today (2014.2189) this feature hasn’t been mentioned much yet still.
And then for non-4.4 Android devices, is there (will there be) any way we can dim the systems bar ?

I would recommend adding this as a feature request at http://feedback.coronalabs.com and get it voted up. There are many features we would like to add, so this would be a first good step to get this on Engineering’s radar.
