In App Purchases Scheduled for next drop

The number one requested feature: In App Purchases will be on the next drop expected Mid-January.

As well as a ton of bug fixes, android fixes, there will be a few other features such as

Push Notification
Universal Binaries
Bitmap Masking
Async http
Daily Builds
Open Bug Base

and as with any software development goes, should I write up the disclaimer? I din’t think so  But this is where we are right now. Since we shipped a few days ago, we are itemizing every feature that is on our roadmap. Based on your feedback, these are the ones that were in the top of the top.

If your feature is not here, don’t go USPS on me, we will get there and I will communicate with you where we are and update this page again with another set of features and expected time line.

*Push notification will probably be done in a two-step process.
First step would be to do local content.
Second step is to do remote content.
Hopefully we can do both at the same time, if time permits (there is this holiday season coming sneaking up on us)…

Carlos.

Awesome news Carlos. Any chance to get the timebase instead of framebased physics engine in there? It’s awesome to see our feedback count. [import]uid: 8192 topic_id: 4348 reply_id: 13590[/import]

WOW! Now this is what I call a Christmas present! lol (even if it’s a tad later than Christmas)

This is great news, we’re very excited. Push notifications and bitmap masking too? Wow, I didn’t expect those until far off but in the next drop?

This is amazing, thanks for hearing our feedback Carlos and everyone else @Ansca  [import]uid: 7849 topic_id: 4348 reply_id: 13592[/import]

Amazing!!! Seems like no holiday break for ANSCA. Carlos drives the team hard! Thanks for all the hard work guys. Hope you manage to get a little break despite all our cries for goodies and recharge your batteries too… The roadmap is long and windy and we need you to make it all the way to the other end. With regard bitmap masking, will we be able to specify the mask colour in RGB? That would be ESSENTIAL! [import]uid: 9371 topic_id: 4348 reply_id: 14132[/import]

Whats RGB?

c [import]uid: 24 topic_id: 4348 reply_id: 14134[/import]

Red Green Blue

In other words be able to tell Corona what the mask colour is when loading an image/sprite. [import]uid: 9371 topic_id: 4348 reply_id: 14137[/import]

@dweezil

i guess you didn’t get it…

thanks for the feedback.

Bitmap MASKING

+1000! [import]uid: 9428 topic_id: 4348 reply_id: 14140[/import]

Man, I still keep falling for carlos’ posts :). I guess he thought we caught on by now  [import]uid: 8145 topic_id: 4348 reply_id: 14148[/import]

Hi Carlos, that should be the “Ready Game Build” with Masking and InApp purchase, AD-MOB and Native ListView…

Please correct me if I got this otherwise, if we can have masks then we can mimic or have functionality like iSlash, is that right? or even create effects like CU3ER… right?

cheers,
