InAppPurchase and Corona Starter Help

Hello Team,

I’m creating a game application with corona SDK starter. Please give me detail clarification about your below services:

  1. If i make app. build by starter version, so it’ll allow me to publish application on Apple Store without paying any single percent?

  2. I’m planning to purchase your Pro subscription.

a. Do you allow it for monthly billing? 49$/developer/month.

b. I’m using InAppPurchase from my app. If i purchase your monthly or annually subscription then Is it sure that My application and it’s features like InAppPurchase and all, Will work fine as usual, after my annual subscription ends and I’m not interested to renew the subscription after annual year completed.?

Please let me your views and best possible solution for my above doubts.

Here are my answers to some of your questions:

  1. Although I’m a Pro subscriber, my understanding is that the starter version is completely free.  You can publish to the App Store without paying Corona a single cent.  (However, Apple charges $99 annually to be a developer.  You still have to pay that.)

2.b. After your subscription ends, the IAP feature in your app should still work fine.  However, if you then want to update your app (to fix a bug, add new features, etc.), you won’t be able to

Hello @anshul_sipl,

Andrew is correct in his points. As for monthly billing, we do not currently offer that option; the Pro subscription is billed annually.

Let me know if you have any further questions, and best of luck in your development.

Best regards,

Brent Sorrentino

Thanks from heart,

Good Support and clear answers.

If i’ll purchase Pro Subscription then it’ll have InAppPurchase and all features like FaceBook, twitter integration, iAds and NativePopup[Email].

I reviewed so many links but not found exact list of features what comes in Pro and others. And there should be no requirement to purchase Enterprise edition specially for above features.

It’ll be better if you provide complete list of features that allowed/restricted in Pro Subscription.

Hello Anshul,

You may see a list of the differences between Starter, Pro, and Enterprise here:

http://www.coronalabs.com/pricing/

Facebook, Twitter, ads, and e-mail/sms are included for free in Starter. Pro includes access to in-app purchases, various Pro plugins, daily builds, and a few other Pro features. Enterprise is for studios/individuals who wish to “extend” Corona using native code and libraries.

Any other specific questions, please ask.

Sincerely,

Brent Sorrentino

Thanks u all.

Happy.
