Like i said 3 posts above, it is on the list. My dev Environment does Not support it, but i already have an idea how to do it on my own. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 18967[/import]
Ok, I migrated my two blogs into one, so if you are interested in IndeED’s progress, you can always look at this side:
Of course, I will add to this topic too.

Would anyone beeing interested in an Early starter sale?
Is the Pope Jewish?

Yes, Paypal would be an option. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 19410[/import]
Btw. hopefully this sunday I can tackle a video, showing IndeED running. Cross your fingers.
Would anyone beeing interested in an Early starter sale? Like 70% off from the projected sales price (59 USD)? And access to the current state of IndeED? Free updates within version 1.x.
Right now I have these features implemented:
-
Runs on OSX
-
Tabbed code editor areas
-
Open files are remembered at closing and reopened at start.
-
A list of all functions in the visible code editor; To navigate the editor area.
-
A list of all code files in the same folder as the visible code file. Double click on an entry and IndeED opens that file.
-
Customizable Syntax highlighting (colors, font, style)
-
Find/replace text with regular expressions
-
Extensive search functionalities over the current file/selected directories/all open files. The syntax highlighted results are navigatable, means click on a line and IndeED opens that file.
-
Run the simulator with the folder of the current visible file and a default simulator skin you can set inside the options of IndeED
-
Bookmarks
-
HTML export of the current code editor content
Current work in progress:
-
Code completion. Right now its just a list of all Corona API commands plus the functions of the current visible editor area
-
Adding to the IndeED options dialog
-
Implementing Serial number protection
Next things to work on after that:
- Documentation
- Code templates and library
- Target based Projects, so build content can be stored in different folders.
- Backup on Save with the ability to rollback to a previous version easly
- Splitted Editor area
- Other things people have mentioned already
- All kinds of editor dialogs to edit files visually (config.ini, build.settings, collision shapes, polygons, maps, etc. etc.)
- Last but not least, code folding
Ok, that’s the plan atm. I hope someone likes it. As it was in the past… I will keep listening to peoples needs and try to implement them if I am capable to do it and it fits into the concept of IndeED.
Cheers

[import]uid: 7587 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 19452[/import]
Not at the moment but later yes once I figure out how to do it. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 19465[/import]
Great work Mike!
I’m a looong time Delphi dev (since v1 back in 1995) but been doing ObjC/Cocos2D/Corona of late and I really miss the uberproductive code editing I can do in Delphi (I still use D7 for win32 development) so I would welcome this.
If you have code completion for function and variable names that would be fantastic. Still struggle with bombing my apps just because I’ve got a typo! Working with compilers for 20 years I’m still getting used to ‘scripting’
I’ll snap it up on pre-release if you tell me how
Cheers
Gary
P.s. are you doing the development in Lazarus? Just wondered what you are using for x-plat development? [import]uid: 7334 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 20451[/import]
Hi gary,
thank you for your kind words. The former versions of IndeED were created with Delphi 6. And yes, i use Lazarus for it now. About the early starter sale… maYbe next week if i don’t hear back from someone who showed interest in it. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 20477[/import]

Hi Larry, email is send. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 21481[/import]
Are you going to integrate a scene builder? If you do, please include a snap to grid function.
Thanks. [import]uid: 36376 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 22613[/import]
Mike nice work, I may have to give it a test run in the future. BTW, I am a old pascal hacker as well, one of the original creators of the “Lazarus” if you ever heard of it. [import]uid: 14451 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 22658[/import]
Cool, I use Lazarus for IndeED. What’s is your real name? [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 4865 reply_id: 22776[/import]
